I LOVE SUMMER!

I feel so happy right now . . . soccer is over, choir is over, small groups are over, school and homework is almost over, the craziness of Sept-June is almost over. I still have to go to work, but that is so ok.

The things I love about summer . . . hanging with the kids, play cards on the deck, bbq, have friends over, go for walks, day trips to Allen Beach, tanned skin, the smell of suntan lotion, campfires, camping weekends, twilight, sunshowers, taking pictures at the beach to scrapbook, watching Big Brother and GOING TO BRAMPTON FOR 2 WEEKS - it seems simply joyous!

Let me know what you most love about summer!

I love not having to get up early and fight with Cam to get ready for school...

I love the laziness of summer, and relaxing with your friends, and going on vacations... and visiting with family...

I love wearing sleevless shirts and sandals... and going to the beach to veg out.

I love feeling the warmth of the sun when you come out of an air conditioned car or home.

I WOULD love it if I didn't have to work... but ya'know how that goes...

Ah here in the Toronto area Summer means smog, allergies/asthma, water shortages/no water enforcement, high cooling costs, sunburns and humidex advisories. Sorry I "JUST HAD TO" tell the other side. You know I hate the heat and shorts!

No summer is also great for gardening, late nights, picnics and of Course SPECIAL FRIENDS visiting and BIG BROTHER!!!!!!!!!

Now when we were in our teens for me anyways it meant MOOSE LAKE! Have you ever looked at sending the kids there for camp?

I love being able to do whatever I want in the nights because summer is about rest (not that I always deserve it) I also love summer because thats when I get to spend time with friends. You always grow closer to friends in the summer.
