Do you know where YOUR children are?

Well, we all know that I live in the ghetto - I love my place but it is so strange sometimes. Those that have hung out here at all know that there are ALWAYS extra kids around. Not even necessarily friends of my children, just kids that hang out and I dont know who their parents are. At one point in my day there were 7 children IN my house, Colton, Levi, Madison, Brandon, Mitchelle, Savannah and Autumn. THEN, if you looked onto my deck outside, there was 5 more children under the age of 5: CJ, Trevian, Colby, Trinity and Sara. Yes, that would be a total of 12 children. At 8:00pm Madison informed me that the little ones, CJ, Colby, Sara and Trinity needed to come inside cause they were cold and their parents wont let them come in the house until someone came to get them cause they had something "PRIVATE" to do!! My issue is not with the poor little kids being here - its the lets say "parents" of the kids. Like, hello, is that an option to "get it on" while the neighbour you have never met is watching the children . . . it overwhelms me with sadness and frustration . . . and compassion.

I dont need God to help me see the needs around me, I SEE THEM, help me to be wise, patient and full of your love.

I have been in what you call your ghetto and I still very much disagree. Yes though there are many children around and it could get to be a bit much at times, but here Anisten usually is looking to find a playmate.

On the way to church today she was stating "how much she loves and misses Madi" and on and on, it was so sweet!

I live in Kelowna's ghetto so I completely understand. It's good to know that there are at least a few of us who know where our children are.....and the rest of them in the neighborhood. At least someone is loving them.

You have a gift that not many people have and it's to truly love people as they are...kids are no different...they know when there is someplace safe that they can be. You are a beaming light in that neighbourhood...Be Blessed my friend!
