HELP!

I hate this so much and can't even believe I am going to write on the blog about this MOST PERSONAL and EMBARRASSING subject, but HERE GOES . . .

OK, I need to lose like 90lbs HOWEVER, that seems like too overwhelming amount for my lame brain to comprehend. So, I am going to lose 25lbs before July. I know it shouldn't be a huge deal, but for a pathetic emotional eater like me, it feels overwhelming . . . that's where all my friends come in.

Please, if you have any suggestions, tips, advice, prayers or recipes to share with me, it would be much appreciated.

THERE, I've said it, now I'm accountable, I expect all of you to be hounding me, pushing me and supporting me!

I MUST I MUST, I MUST DECREASE MY BUST (and butt, and gut)!!

Go to Chapters and buy the Curves book. It has a couple of differnet lose weight options in it. You eat real food and you eat all the time....6 times a day, in fact. It's easy. I've been at it for 2 weeks and have already lost 7 pounds. It says you can easily lose 2-3 pounds a week. No chips though.....that's ben the hardest part for me!!!!! Good luck! Can't wait to see you 25 pounds lighter...you can do it!

thanks thank thanks for the input everyone n- day 1 already feels stressful but cause i am thinking about it - i also forgot to weigh myself this mornign so need to do that too - anyways - its a life journey - not a quick fix for me!

Yes losing weight CAN be hard. But not nessessarily. If I can do it... YOU CAN DO DIVA!!!

Hi Vaness... Weight watchers is good, my Mom lost 50lbs that way. The only bad part is the point counting... that is why I couldn"t keep up with it! My secret...WATER!!! You should be drinking about 2 litres a day, minimum. And since you are an emotional eater... carrot sticks!! I love you!

5 tips

1. drink water (2 litres a day) if you find it tastes tasteless add some real lemon juice to it. you know you're doing great if your pee becomes clear.

2. juice and pop, cut it down to one glass a day and the rest is water. Juice is useless calories and once you cut down water actually seems to taste better.

3. Dont weigh yourself everyday. Its just discouraging especially if you excersice and add muscle weight. Also if your drinking water that will change too. Limit yourself to one weigh a week.

4. DQ crispy chicken salad doesnt apply to Brandi's eat salad rule (we all know that but are all in denial :) )

5. The most frustrating things is hearing 10 diffrent opinions on which way is the best way to loose weight. You know your body and when your eating when you shouldnt be. Take simple small steps that are sensible (like you realistic goal) and rejoice instead of being upset that you havnt stuck completly to rediculous rules

Vaness go out and buy the book "Thin Within" and also check out www.thinwithin.org I have since June now lost 52 pounds and nothing is off limits, NO STRESS!!!! The best part of Thin Within is that you will get to the root of overeating as opposed to the symptoms. Be free Vaness, I am free now only through Gods Grace and I could not possibly go back to "Diets" gross!

well, im kinda doing a combo of hodge's, curves, stopping when satisfied, etc. and lots of water, it will be good for my hair and skin anyways. also, 1 cup of pure cranberry juice a day and brussell sprouts as much as possible - both good for the metabolism. its the vanessa-ized version for now.
