Advise please!

Well . . . we made it through our first week of "back to school" - yippee!! The kids all got off to their 3 different schools, Levi managed to find his way on the ETS, Colton and I made it to his school with out being late, and the girls got off on time without any issue - pretty good start to a crazy year ahead. Our driving schedule will be very hectic for the next year with football, dance, piano, bible study, cadets, swimming lessons, soccer, tutor and the like. Mike and I will really have to committ to finding time alone to spend together and also time with the kids . . .making use of driving time with them can be fun too.

Any suggestions/tips/advise, things that work for you to stay sane . . . from all my organized friends would be great. How do you manage all the driving, house cleaning, LAUNDRY, working, family time, etc . . . I need all the help i can get!!

Cooking - The Big Cook! I actually already have the cookbook and have done a couple of mini-cooks - will be doing one for a pregnant friend in the next couple of weeks. Having meals ready to go ahead of time will allow you more time to deal with everything else on your list...

Umm...I only have two kids. They don't require a lot of taxi-ing or anything yet. So, sorry, I don't really qualify to give a lot of advice there...laundry - teach the older ones to do it - obvious, I know...but even Joshua helps with folding towels and changing the laundry and making beds!

My Polestar Family Planner Calendar thingy keeps me sane. It's great - a full-sized book in spiral binding (you can get it at Costco or Save-On for around $9.00) - great for appointments, etc - that EVERYONE can use! Totally works for us. I was skeptical at first, but this is my 4th year using it, and it's just gettin' fuller - yes, I'm still busy, but just having things written down makes life more bearable.

I'll be checking this post's comments often to see what everyone else has to say...I want to be well-prepared for the future!

Even though I already have the Big Cook book, I am so totally coming to the event at the church! Anything on home organization... I'm there! Some people say I'm just plain over-critical, hard on myself, etc... but they've not seen my kitchen and craft room lately! I'm STILL not moved in here well enough to actually do any real productive playing! :(
